Meditation & Relaxation
Enjoy peaceful tranquillity and a feeling of wellbeing at our Meditation and Relaxation sessions in the Foundation's Yurt set within the woodlands surrounding Ulverscroft Manor.
Meditation and Relaxation has been practiced over 1000’s of years and many have sung the praises of its great benefits.
In our time now, there is established fact both scientifically and medically, that the regular practice of meditation releases stress and tension, emotionally and physically, leading to a greater sense of health and wellbeing.
A calmer mind has the potential of greater focus, concentration and clarity. Calmer emotions are experienced and the benefits are enjoyed in the ‘here and now’. Change is one of the goals of Meditation. As the mind becomes more peaceful during meditation, the body, emotions and mind all become re-aligned, leading to harmony.
“When there is harmony there is peace, when there is peace, there is contentment, when there is contentment, there is joy”
